Well, the quad and invulnerability currently function as IR goggles.
I may fool around a bit with the effects now that we have access to Xatrix and Rogue
mission pack DLL code.

We want to keep the number of items the pred has to manage to a minimum. If you're being chased, you don't want to have
to fool with a lot of keys or items.

That said, I recognize that the pred is pretty ping sensitive. We're looking at allowing players to
"overload" the rocket launcher. This would use TWO rounds of ammo but do damage more along the lines of
the standard rocket launcher (or maybe a bit more :}).

Possible, I suppose. The sooner you learn the levels in the dark, the better off you'll be. And the more
fun you'll have.

I've never been really hot on the idea of grapples in NH. You think the pred is hard to
hit now? Wait until you have to find it in the dark in 3 dimensions, then hit it.
Imagine a pred which can hook into cubbyholes one levels like The Warehouse and camp
until back to full health. Ouch.

Still, enough people have asked for it that we'll have to consider putting it in. Of course,
it will be an option. If you don't like it, or you find you're getting your ass kicked,
you can always turn it off. :^}
