: A few brainstorm ideas, so to speak ... some are semi-serious, others are mere comic relief. :)

: (1) Modify the BFG weapon such that when fired, if it 'strikes' a player (including the predator) it causes them to light up (the ambient light caused by having their flashlights on) for a preset time - call it the "GlowStick Gun" or "Phosphor Cannon" instead of the BFG...

Hehe.. cool. Trouble with BFG is that one wrong shot kills marines too. NH has an auto-kick feature for those silly marines intent on killing thier buddys, if you kill too many you get kicked. A BFG shot would get ya kicked on the spot. Not much of a sporting weapon but yer suggestions sound fun. Take the sting out of BFG? Would make it useless. Give it to the predator, make it blue, add in yer touches and take some of the sting out? Not bad. Food for thought.

: (2) Add a counter such that if a player camps for too long with their light off, they'll randomly make an ambient noise like a fart or a sneeze. Shouldn't have ate those beans!

I like this. LOL

: (3) I don't know if this has been rectified or not, but I've noticed that in previous versions, the player when dead can still toggle their flashlight off and on, and depending on what state the light was in when the player died, the light remained in that state after respawn. I'd say that lights should be off as part of a respawn, and the dead should not be able to toggle the light off and on. Again, this may have already been rectified - if not, it should be an easy fix (just exit out of the light toggle function when triggered if the player's health is negative).

You are reporting differant stages in its history. Light is off when dead, but if marine had it on and does not change it, it is on when he respawns. Its now your choise on how you start, not forced on or off.

: (4) Just for laughs, if a player walks around expertly for too long a period with their light off, add a counter that will randomly trigger a sound sample, something like "Ouch!" or "Whoa!" and cause a 'stumble' - either a slight change in direction or a sudden crouch. Who left that rock there?

A variation on the one above. Funny. Might be anoy'n to some. Worth considering. :)

: (5) Three words. Invisible banana peels. AAAAAAA! :)

LOL...
